What I collect

• Information you give me: your name and email address when you sign up for a free guide or join my email list, and anything you choose to share when you contact me.
• Information collected automatically: basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and how you arrived at the site, through tools like Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics.

I only collect what I need, and I never collect payment information through this website.

How I use your information

• To send you what you asked for, such as the free guide A Guide to Help You Choose the Right Brokerage for your Business.
• To send you helpful articles and emails about my book, only if you've said yes. If you tick the box to join my email list, I'll send you helpful articles for real estate agents, along with updates about my upcoming book, new guides and other resources.
• To reply to you when you reach out.
• To understand how people use my website and measure my ads, so I can make them more helpful.

I will never sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Your email choices

Joining my email list is always optional. You can still download the free guide without signing up for anything else.

Every email I send includes a clear unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing privacy@kenlaroza.com. I'll process your request promptly, and always within 10 business days.

Who I share your information with

I use a small number of trusted service providers to help run this website and send emails, such as MailerLite (website and email newsletters), Meta/Facebook and Google (advertising and analytics), Porkbun (domain) and Northmail (email). They can only use your information to provide their services to me.

Some of these providers may store information outside Canada, for example in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

I may also disclose information if required by law.

Cookies and advertising

This website uses cookies and similar tools, including Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics, to understand how people use the site and to measure and improve my ads. These tools collect information such as the pages you visit and may use your IP address. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, and your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account.

How long I keep your information

I keep your information only as long as I need it for the purposes above. If you unsubscribe, I'll stop sending you marketing emails. I may keep a record of your unsubscribe request so that I respect it going forward.

How I protect your information

I take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, including using reputable service providers and limiting who can access it. No method of storage or transmission online is 100% secure, but I do my best to protect what you share with me.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time to:

• see the personal information I hold about you
• correct anything that's inaccurate
• withdraw your consent to receive emails
• delete your information, where possible

Just email privacy@kenlaroza.com. If you have a concern I haven't resolved, you also have the right to contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
